Organisers of Street Eat, the popular food festival returning to Rochdale Town Hall Square on Saturday 28 June have revealed more about the 2025 line-up.

The event, organised by Rochdale Business Improvement District (BID) brings together local food and drink establishments for a tasty serving of food, drink, free entertainment and music.

The first list of traders has been confirmed, and it features established favourites and some new arrivals. The food and drink line-up includes The Flying Horse Hotel, prosecco bar Sip and Sparkle, hot waffles from Brew Box, Cake Loves Cakes, burgers from Bank Top Farm, Mason’s Cookies, food from The Baum, pizzas from Vicolo del Vino, The Treehouse Bar, Our Gracie’s, The Traditional Tuck Shop, Daniela’s Ice Cream and Betty and Co Hot Dogs.

There will be free activities and rides for children including Punch and Judy shows, face painting and a caricaturist sketching free personal portraits.

Street Eat includes bars for the adults and a live music stage hosted by Di Lynham from Happy Radio UK, serving up hours of fun for all ages. This year’s line-up includes country rock band Between The Vines, popular duo Shenanigans, soloist Saskia Starkie performing contemporary and classic pop hits, Turners Dance School and more.

Organiser and Business Improvement District (BID) manager Paul Ambrose said: “Street Eat showcases the vibrant food and drink the town has to offer as well as being a really fun day to share with friends and family. Whether you’re wanting to try something new or just want your favourite food to accompany an ice-cold drink while listening to some live music, Street Eat has everything you need. We do all we can to make it as affordable as possible, entry is free and there’s no charge for the entertainment either, including the rides and shows. It’s going to be another great day in the fabulous setting of the new Rochdale Town Hall Square.”

Councillor Sue Smith, cabinet member for communities and co-operation at Rochdale Borough Council, said: “It’s great to see Street Eat returning during our year as town of culture and it will be fantastic to see the square come alive with food, fun and community spirit. There will be another varied menu of food and drink, all very affordable and Street Eat also helps to support local businesses so I encourage both visitors and residents to shop local, think local and support local.”

Admission is free and Street Eat will run from 11am to 7pm. For more on the line-up visit rochdalebid.co.uk or rochdale.gov.uk/YourEvents and search #StreetEatRoch on social media.
