Metrolink comes to town

Completed in March 2014, the Rochdale arm of the Metrolink service sees trams arriving in the town centre every 12 minutes.

River Roch re-opening

The historic structure, a stunning medieval bridge, is being revealed as part of a £250m scheme to reopen the River Roch and transform the vicinity.

Easier access to The Wheatsheaf

Completed in summer 2015, The Wheatsheaf Shopping Centre has a new and accessible entrance on Baillie Street.
