Rochdale Development Agency (RDA) leads on the delivery of economic and physical regeneration across the borough of Rochdale. It is set up as a not-for-profit private company with a board of directors comprising senior figures from the private sector, private sector representative bodies, Rochdale Council and other public sector agencies.

With a broad range of experience and skills both on the board and amongst the management and staff, the RDA has developed a successful track record as one of the most innovative public/private partnerships in the country.  The pages on this website give a flavour of the physical, economic development and urban regeneration services we are delivering to enhance the borough's infrastructure, economy and well-being of its residents.

The RDA has a major new role to play in helping deliver the Rochdale Renaissance Masterplan, an ambitious physical and spatial plan which aims to transform the way the borough looks and functions over the next 20 years.
