Zulf Ali
Managing Director, Zentek Solutions
 Zulf Ali is the Managing Director of Zentek Solutions, a specialist education-focussed IT company based in Bolton.
Zulf chose to become a board member of Rochdale Development Agency in 2005
due to an overwhelming desire to support economic and physical regeneration
projects across the region. He has also had experience as a board member
for the leading community venture KYP since 1984, and acted as their Vice
Chairman, Chairman and currently serves as Chair of Regeneration.
Among his achievements, Zulf helped to set up a training course for local
universities to help students gain a better understanding of business and
enterprise.
Over the years, his personal interest in business and commerce has also
gained him national recognition, and he has been presented the Queen's
Award for Enterprise Promotion for his contribution in supporting and developing
enterprise.
Zulf has also been short-listed for the Orange sponsored National Business
Awards Regional Programme and a finalist at Lloyds
TSB Jewel Awards for Entrepreneur of the Year.
Zulf brings to the RDA board experience of working with some of the largest
companies in the world including Cable & Wireless and Nortel Networks
focusing on sales, marketing and business development.
In the future, he would like to see people motivated by the opportunities
in Rochdale and to be fully engaged in the local economy, enabling Rochdale
to be at the forefront of regional economic activity. |
