Carol Hopkins, Local Manager, Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce

Carol is a Local Manager for the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce. Prior to joining the Chamber, Carol worked in corporate banking with Natwest for 15 years.

Her main duties at the Chamber include liaising with local businesses while providing a focal point for partners such as Rochdale Development Agency, Rochdale Council, the police and the economic partnership to express their views and concerns.

Carol joined the RDA board as an Alternate Director in 2005 before becoming a full-time Director and Chamber Representative in 2007.

As a board member, Carol brings the views of the private sector to the board and helps create supply chain opportunities for businesses throughout Rochdale.

Carol’s main aim is to continue to support local businesses and to try and ensure that they don’t move out of the area.
