Completion nears on Crown first phase

The first phase of the Crown Business Park in Rochdale, developed by joint venture partners Capital & Centric and Barnfield Construction, is nearing completion.

The first phase of two office buildings totalling 15,180 sq ft and an industrial unit of 30,000 sq ft are set for completion this month (December) and January 2012.

Tim Heatley, director at Capital & Centric, said: "The joint venture is all about providing the right product in the right location with low environmental impact. The scheme is generating interest and employment from both local and national occupiers which will lead to more jobs and a boost to the regional economy."

The speculative scheme secured £3.14m from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and is set to create 350 jobs in the area. Nolan Redshaw and Jones Lang LaSalle are joint letting agents for the development.
